Pamela Sharp

Director of Women’s Ministries

Biography:

I grew up in New Jersey, but I’ve spent much of my adult life in California in the wine industry. In 1986 I received a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from the University of the Arts in Philadelphia. For 10 years I worked in marketing for MetLife Brokerage in Princeton, NJ and Prudential Life Insurance in Newark, NJ.

My husband Rob and I have been married since 2002 and we have two incredible teenage boys, Spencer and Alec. We moved to Lincoln in 2016 and love our new life here.

I enjoy writing and speaking and in 2015 I was awarded the Christian Author’s Award by Xulon Press for the short story, “The Kite” which is also the title of my first book about God’s grace, love and His promises in our daily lives. I am currently writing a book entitled, “From Wine & Cheese to Corn & Cows — Moved by God.” And I am also assembling a collection of devotions for publication in the near future.

Prior to coming to Messiah, I was active in my community and volunteered in a number of roles at Trinity Lutheran Church in Paso Robles, California. Expanding women’s ministry, sharing God’s Grace, and building His Kingdom is my passion. I look forward to all that God does through the amazing women of Messiah.
