250,000 ITEMS DISTRIBUTED

Common Threads is a vibrant, hands-on ministry led by Wendy Rich that combines sewing, service, and heart. This volunteer-driven outreach invites people of all ages to use their time and talents to meet essential human care needs through the creation of period care kits. These kits serve as a lifeline for women and girls in under-resourced areas who often lack access to basic hygiene products, causing them to miss school, church, and valuable opportunities to grow in both knowledge and faith.

With more than 30,000 lives touched and 250,000 items distributed, Common Threads is a beautiful example of faith in action. Over 1,500 volunteers have answered the call to serve—cutting, sewing, assembling, and praying over each item that is sent out.

Whether you have five minutes or five hours, whether you’re a beginner or a seasoned seamstress, there’s a role for everyone. Come visit the Common Threads display in the Great Hall to learn how you can pray, serve, or donate. Together, we can continue wrapping the world in the love of Christ—one stitch at a time.
