Faith

Wild at Heart

LEADER: MATT LENTELL & MATT BLANKENBILLER

LENGTH: ONGOING – JOIN ANY TIME

God designed men to be powerful. Simply look at the dreams and desires written in the heart of every boy: to be a hero, to be a warrior, and to live a life of adventure and risk. But somewhere between boyhood and the struggles of yesterday, many men lose heart. In this study for men, you are invited to rediscover the life that you were made for. Through time in God’s Word, and time with other men, grow in your walk with God.

RESTORING THE HEART OF A WOMAN

WHEN RELIGION MEETS POLITICS

LEADER: PASTOR JOHN KUNZE

LENGTH: 5 WEEKS

In an election year, politics are on the hearts and minds of many people – including Christians. It’s something we need to talk about, especially considering the political divisiveness present in our current culture. In this study you will explore topics like: Is it possible to disagree with someone politically and yet love them unconditionally? How, and why, should Christians from both sides of the aisle pursue unity? And, the unity and diversity of first-century Jesus followers shocked and intrigued the ancient world – how can modern-day Christians follow their lead?

Case for Christ

LEADER: JIM KIRK

LENGTH: 5 WEEKS

In The Case for Christ, Lee Strobel, former legal editor of the Chicago Tribune and New York Times bestselling author, retraces his own spiritual journey from atheism to faith and builds a captivating case for Christ’s divinity. In this study you will find answers to questions like: How reliable is the New Testament? Does evidence for Jesus exist outside the Bible? Is Jesus who He said he was? Is there any reason to believe the resurrection was an actual event? And, what does all of the evidence point to?

DIRECTOR OF CHILDREN & FAMILY: BETHANY WERNER

For children three years old through 5th grade. The focus of Children’s Ministry is being inspired by the Old and New Testament stories of God’s Word. Through age-appropriate study of the Bible, children are growing in love for God and the timeless truth of His Word. We’ll also have special events to equip parents to serve as the primary influencers (faith sharers and shapers) in the lives of their children.

Middle School

INTERIM LEADER FOR MIDDLE SCHOOL YOUTH: BETHANY WERNER

6th grade through 8th grade

Confirmation plays a key role in the faith development of Middle School Ministry. While 6th and 7th graders study the Small Catechism, 8th graders study the Gospel of John. Each confirmand is invited into a deeper and more personal interaction of God’s Word, while at the same time being challenged to confirm the timeless truth of Scripture as it relates to their world. Parents are also invited to be a part of their child’s faith journey, serving as small group leaders, as well as being encouraged and equipped to grow in their relationship with their sons and daughters as they begin to navigate adolescence.

High School

INTERIM LEADER FOR HIGH SCHOOL YOUTH: SCOTT GUENTHER

9th grade through 12th grade

Through study of God’s Word, the hope is that High School youth are learning to connect the timeless truth of God’s Word to daily life. While being provided opportunities to put into practice their God-given gifts and abilities through acts of service, youth are being equipped as disciple makers. Parents during this time are also being equipped to come alongside their sons and daughters to further guide them in discovering their identity in Christ and future callings.
