End of Year BBQ Party 6:15 May 8
As we approach the end of our school year, we like to celebrate a great year of Wednesday Nights Bible Studies with food and fellowship. All are welcome to join our End of Year BBQ Party on May 8 from 6:15pm-8:00pm. We will begin in the Sanctuary with a brief devotion then head outdoors to enjoy some delicious BBQ. Please bring a chair or blanket and find a good spot to settle in with friends to enjoy your meal. Give to Messiah Day is may 30
As we continue our journey of faith together, we are excited to announce Give to Messiah Day, happening on May 30! This special day is an opportunity for us to come together and support the growth and development of our Messiah community.
This year, our focus is to address an urgent and important need to upgrade our elevator. Our elevator is the original from 1995, and we have recently been told maintenance parts are no longer available. We use our elevator for ministry every day. To update the technology and infrastructure to keep it working, we need over $160,000, and we have a goal to raise at least half $80,000 through Give to Messiah Day, to get the project started.
From May 1 to May 31, we invite you to join us in this meaningful initiative by making a donation toward this cause. Please click here to donate online or you may drop off your donation at the church office. Your generosity will directly impact the accessibility, safety, and comfort of our entire Messiah family. Register kiddos and sign up to volunteer for VBS!
Take kids deep into an amazing undersea adventure where they’ll experience the ever-flowing, never-ending love of God. At Scuba VBS, kids will be immersed in the Word and discover what living water is really all about! June 3-7 9:00a-11:30am ages 3-entering 5th grade. Register kiddos and sign up to volunteer here. Join Young Adult Ministry for Holmes Lake Day for outdoor games, drinks, and light snacks. We will be at the picnic area off of Holmes North Shore Rd with the three volleyball courts. For more information please contact Jacob Wenger at 402.309.3101. We look forward to seeing you there!
Royal Family KIDS of Lancaster County is a local non-profit organization which provides the opportunity for children who have been abused and neglected to attend a 5-day summer camp designed specifically for foster children.
